Our Legacy and Growth: The Journey of SDC BANK LTD

SDC Bank Ltd., then Shramik Sahakari Bank Ltd., was established on 11-02-1973 by late Shri Sahebraoji Deshmukh. In adverse conditions, Sahebraoji, with his hard work, sincerity, foresight and strong desire to help financially poor people, has brought the bank to such a sound financial institution having 14 computerised branches with head office at Sakinaka.
As of March 31, 2009, S.D.C. Bank reported strong financials with ₹285 crores in deposits, ₹215 crores in advances, ₹8.10 crores in share capital, ₹37.92 crores in reserves, and ₹2.31 crores in profit. Consistently rated ‘A’ in audits and fully RBI-compliant, the bank is on track to achieve Scheduled status. A Core Banking system is being implemented, enabling networked branches and "anywhere banking," marking a major milestone in the bank’s 34-year journey of growth and modernization.
